There is no real life without nature. Let all not be lost through the hustle and bustle of making a living and raising families. Remember to stop and smell the roses, share with others the parts of the world, (and it’s getting harder and harder to find those places), where you can get back to nature. Could you survive in the world if all the materialistic items no longer existed? No electric, no vehicles, no stores to shop at . . . oh my!
Camping, hunting and basically just being as close to nature as possible, is a childhood memory that is forever in my heart. I remember camping out with my grandparents or staying at their cabin in the county, and getting up before daylight to go hunting with my grandpa. Many times I remember jumping out of bed and running out the door and begging my grandpa to wait for me. Now, looking back on my childhood, I figure he tried to sneak out when hunting for deer because I would always stop him every time he was ready to shoot. Those big beautiful eyes just really got to me, and still do. Oh how beautiful it was, seeing the world as I still think it should be. I enjoy the excitement of the night creatures scurrying around in the dark, and the day creatures hunting for their meals. Just absolutely priceless!
Get away from the big city, enjoy mother-nature, and put yourself in the environment that our world survived upon many centuries ago. Nature brings back our instincts and puts each of our minds into an enlightening experience, away from the streetlights and all those noises that we have accepted as normal, but are not natural. Remember, relaxation is survival to having a longer and healthier life.
Even camping out in the back yard can give you a relaxing experience to take you just far enough away from the norm, but yet keep you close to home if you prefer. I know some people that actually consider staying in a hotel as the closest they ever want to get to camping away from home.
Go ahead, camp, hunt, take a walk in the woods and really take a look around. Enjoy your time away from the busy world we live in. If you have a G-Rated camping story that you would like for me to post and share, please send me an email for review, and if approved, I would be honored to post it for you. Please include your name or pen name, city and/or state that you prefer to be listed as, to give credit to you for your story. Thank you and many relaxing blessings.
